Science stuff

I have a BSc in Zoology, an MSc in Forensic Textiles and an MSc in Zoology. A whole project was born out of my love of science and using scientific methods to create art. The purpose of this collection is to prove that the two are not mutually exclusive and that beauty can be found in the remotest of places. All of these works have been created on a scanning electron microscope (SEM) in the microscopy unit at the University of Otago, and form part of a joint exhibition between Liz Girvan (SEM technician) and myself to be held in Oct 2015.
Colour has be added with artistic licence by myself in Photoshop.
